You can't post a shot like this and not tell us what lens you used! It's eye catching. I like it!

It's a Sigma 12-24 mm f/4.5-5.6 EX on a Canon EOS 5D MkIII. Not an incredible lens, but it gets the job done. Vignetting is an issue, so I usually add more in post.

This was a shot for Ashlyn's <a href="http://www.ashlynmccormick.com/?p=42" rel="nofollow">4-H photo project</a> - architecture category. My original idea was that we would shoot up the shaft of a nearby grain elevator, but this one was built in such a way that we couldn't do so. The church was my Plan B, and the road to it was solid mud bog. My wife was less than impressed with how gunked up her vehicle was when we returned home.

I think it was worth the trip. I like the vignette. I tend to be heavy-handed with vignetting myself.It must have been fun going out and shooting with your daughter. Experiences like that become fond memories in the future. I hope my son goes shooting with me when he is older. He's only 2 now.
