Superb. Damn you.

I had to do a service call 10 km from Senkiw Church last night. Senkiw itself is about 100km away from my home, so it made sense to let someone else pay for the fuel. I figured I would try to get a bit of shooting in, but the freaking cold wind, inadequate clothing, and grotty light worked against me. Snapped a few and headed home.

Grabbed this frame on the way. I pulled over to the side and hung the 100-400 out my van window in an attempt to molest a pair of canvas backs. They were having none of that and flew off. This is my consolation prize.

The original image had a blue sky and brownish, brackish looking water because of the wind. I colour shifted things slightly so it looked as cold as it felt. Also, in all honesty, it's now closer to what my eye saw than what my camera did.
