Note to other shutterbugs: I was misinformed about this land being open to photographers -- it's NOT. The owner requests that photographers not trespass on his land.
I thank him for his understanding when I strayed onto his property, and for his permission to publish the images I captured.

I can understand why he's so protective. Class of 99? Farm kids aren't any more mature than their urban counterparts. Nice shot.

Apparently people see pictures of stuff in the elevator and actually pay people to come out and steal it, or steal it themselves. That's why so many of the homesteads and antique vehicles I have found have had their locations misidentified.

I obviously can't tell people that an elevator in Fusilier SK is elsewhere, but... When it comes to collectible antiques that people will use my photos to locate and 'harvest'...

...I no longer provide information on where I found the items in question. I strip the geographic data from the photos and refuse to tell any photographer that I don't know personally and have not gone shooting with where the items are located. Fewer thefts that way. Sad that a person has to do this.
